General Information
This stunning wine was produced from
Syrah grapes grown in the warm Borden Ranch in the Sierra foothills
and from the cool Edna Valley in the Central Coast. Part of the wine
was aged in small American oak barrels and part in stainless steel.
You will find it has distinct berry, blackberry fruit notes, light
body, and complex flavors of fruit and oak. Enjoy with meats of all
kinds, hard cheese, roasted chickn or pasta. Baron Herzog Syrah is
best served at room temperature. As the wine was only lightly
filtered, it may produce sediment as it ages.
Kosher For Passover
