Aging for 18 months in oak barrels has also contributed layers of mocha and vanilla. This wine is wonderful with roasted turkey, barbecued meats, or pasta dishes. To retain its character only light filtration occured and therefore sediment may appear as it ages. Kosher For Passover Winemaker's Note Wonderful complexity, finesse and depth of flavor, with layers of earthy currant, plum, wild berry, spice and cedar. Long elegant aftertaste.
