General InformationIsrael's
ancient soil and lengthy growing season provide the perfect
environment to nurture fine Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. These grapes
were hand picked, soft pressed, vinified and aged 8 months in French
oak barrels. The result is a full-bodied wine with a delicate smoky
aroma and hints of spices enhanced by plum and blackberry flavors.
Enjoy with grilled meat, game and hearty casseroles.

"Serious Israeli wine...(Winemaker
Lewis Pasco) shoots for - and hits - the international style...some of
the best, most internationally styled wines from the country...the
2000 Merlots and Cabernets are bright in color and bold in flavor.
Both are good wines that will appeal to a wide audience." April 2003
South Florida Sun-Sentinel
"Recanati makes not only some of the
best wines I've tasted, but also some of the best values. And they do
it all in Israel. ...the cabernet, with full-fruit flavor and soft
tannins, is as good as other cabs offered at twice the price."

features nice dark berry fruit and subtle notes of oak and spices."
