General InformationThis wine
is produced from exquisitely balanced grapes grown in Segal's Dishon
Vineyard. The vineyard, in the Kadesh Valley in the northern Galilee,
is planted on well-drained, dark soil at a height of 430 meters above
sea level. Select blocks of the vineyard are densely planted, and
strict vineyard management limits the yield, intensifying the grapes'
natural sugar, acid, and color. Rich tannins enhance the fruit's
quality. 95% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels and 5% in
American oak barrels for 20 months. The result is a symphony of color,
aroma, and barrel-enhanced flavor that exemplifies the Dishon
vineyard.
Kosher For Passover
Winemaker's Note
Full bodied, rich blackberry and dark cherry flavors, subtle hints of
anise and a long finish. FOOD PAIRING RECOMMENDATIONS: Full flavored
meat or rich sauced chicken dishes. |
