It was aged in brand new American and French oak barrels and allowed to mature for nearly two years. The barrel aging added more complexity with notes of vanilla, chocolate, liquorice and tobacco. The depth of color and complex aromas give an excellent indication of what this wine currently has to offer, and how it will develop in the bottle.
