As the wine aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months, it evolved very gracefully, presenting wonderful jam/berry notes that were further enhanced by the character of the oak barrels. The wine is soft and approachable exhibiting soft tannin and full body. With proper cellaring, this wine should continue to develop for another five to seven years.
