General Information
Gamla Sangiovese was produced from Sangiovese and a small amount of
Cabernet Sauvignon, all grown in the Golan Heights. The cool climate,
rocky volcanic soil and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing
this classic Tuscan grape variety. Aging in oak barrels balances the
floral, wild berry and light earthy notes of this Sangiovese with
nuances of spice and vanilla. Enjoy with steaks right off the grill or
with pasta dishes rich in fresh herbs. To preserve the quality of the
wine, this bottle should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place.
Best served at 65-70°F
